What is the difference between EV, Hybrid and PHEV?
EV (Electric Vehicle)
A fully electric vehicle runs entirely on battery power and does not use petrol or diesel. It needs to be charged either at home or at public charging stations.

Plug-In Hybrid (PHEV)
A plug-in hybrid combines a petrol engine with a battery that can be charged externally. For many drivers, shorter daily trips can often be done mainly on electric power, while the petrol engine is there for longer journeys.

Hybrid (HEV)
